The treasure box

The boy slowly walked along the perfect sandy beach.As he strolled,he observed the bright sun and clear sky above.The sun beamed onto the water,casting a sparkling shimmer,glinting as the rough sea moved in timed motions with the tide.Suddenly his eyes were drawnlike a magnet to a shiny object in the sand. Eagerly, he approached the object and stared in awe at a box.......

In the sand lay a wooden box .He kneeled down and dusted the sand of and saw that it had some kind of writing engraved in it .A rotten smell was coming from the box it smelt like sea water and fish. he had  a closer look and and there was a rusty pad lock on it. the box was really scratchy and as wet as the the seas. the box was spotty,cold and heavier than a t.v.It was very colourful andwas covered in shells. the boy pulled and tuged but it would not budge "It needs a key" he shouted. he ran all over the beach digging and looking for a key.
